About Novian Health

Novian Health Inc., located in Chicago, is a privately held company with proprietary technology for the treatment of tumors using Interstitial Laser Therapy (ILT).  The company has developed, tested, and patented a minimally-invasive procedure, Novilase^®, that uses ILT (controlled heating) for the ablation of breast tumors as an alternative to the surgically invasive, traditional "lumpectomy."  Novilase offers significant advantages over surgical removal including minimal scarring, quicker recovery times, and only requiring local anesthesia.  Novian Health has received its first FDA 510(k) market clearance for benign tumors of the breast and they have launched several centers nationwide that are associated with existing surgical practices. Approval for malignant tumors will also be sought.

Mission

The mission of Novian Health is to be the leading company in providing women with a minimally invasive alternative to surgical lumpectomies for cancerous and non-cancerous tumors.  The vision is to establish ILT as an enabling technology, leveraging the advances in digital mammography and other diagnostic detection technologies, to allow the treatment of smaller tumors at earlier stages for the benefit of the patient, without invasive surgery and the attendant trauma or cost.
